The objective of this writing is for you to learn about the Joe Biden’s “Natal” birth horoscope and his “Transit” Horoscope. Sun in Scorpio in Twelfth House

The native is a natural intuitive with considerable emotional range. Matters of life & death, light & darkness, freedom & limitation are experienced with great intensity, sometimes all at once. Sun is found at 27 Scorpio. When Sun is combust Venus at 28 Scorpio, we see a refinement in play. As the powerful Sun abides with Venus the planet of desire, Sun serves to burn off any improperly placed desires that can be harmful to the native.

Sun-Mercury Conjoined

Here, the power of the Sun enhances the communication ability of the native. And there is no question that Biden exhibits the power to speak clearly. However, he has a history of speech pathology from an early age, and this is potentially noted in his Twelveth House placement of Mercury. In fact, Biden’s Pluto-in-Leo generation 1939-1957 was the first to break away from the strictures of the past. Moon’s Nodes: South Node – Pisces; North Node – Virgo

The Moon’s nodes signify where a person is coming from and where they are headed. South node in Pisces speaks of a person who has previously gone with the flow. This person is coming from acceptance and yielding to where life and circumstances are going, without exercising individual control over the direction. North Node shows the destination, and in Virgo, the objective is to work and rectify many of life’s finer details.  The Pisces nature does not concern itself with details, because its perspective is that of the whole, not so much of the parts. Biden Election Day Transits

Evaluating Election Day 2020, we give more weight to the impact of the slow-moving outer planets. These not only offer us perspective on the election itself, but also, the indicate details about what will likely present itself in the months following the election.  From the evaluation of these Transits, the nature of the political landscape will become abundantly clear.

The Transits examined here suggest that Biden faces long-term daunting challenges and yet, is in possession of important resources and opportunities as he enters the Presidency.  We can expect him to be tested in many ways. Given his Scorpio natal planet grouping, and the depth it brings to the native, it is likely that he has the resources to face his challenges. He is not easily overcome. However, the many challenges indicated in the horoscope point to a Presidency that is certainly not smooth sailing, but rather one that involves many obstacles. Success in such a broad range of tasks is never guaranteed. We cannot predict the outcome, but as in all life circumstances involving nations and policy, the road will not be boring.

Transit Pluto 22 Capricorn Sextile Natal Mercury 21 Scorpio.

Pluto in Capricorn is about transforming the power of institutions, the large machinery of society, and the substructure upon which society relies. Mercury in Scorpio has a message – “it’s a matter of life and death and severe consequences can be expected if we don’t get it right.” In combination these two emphasize a strong message focused on transformation. Since the election, Biden’s communication (Mercury) has been focused on very large-scale issues. Among them, a coordinated federal strategy to address the pandemic, US Economic recovery including interventions on behalf of citizens who are suffering economically, unity among Americans, and the US relationship to foreign governments.  Given the very slow motion of Pluto through the zodiac, these overarching themes will be the primary message of the Biden presidency.

Transit Pluto 22 Capricorn Opposed Natal Jupiter 25 Cancer

Oppositions always foretell challenges. A Pluto opposition to any natal planet involves a process that reminds us of the expression “The mills of God grind slowly, but they grind exceedingly small.” Biden faces tough, almost eviscerating opposition. His ambition (Jupiter) for a sense of civil unity and belonging (Cancer=home and family) are challenged by social media which pulls people into camps through surveillance driving users and their online engagement into like-minded, yet harmfully polarized themes. Biden’s ability to act (Mars) is enhanced by Neptune’s impulse of creativity, revelation, and the hope for a brighter future. This favorable Aspect gives Biden the ability to see new horizons, and to act to bring them into focus.

In this election we see demonstration of a repudiation of the Trump regime. New solutions come to the fore and become available in a sudden and powerful exhibition of directional change. With this Transit in effect, Biden can tap into the desire for this repudiation, and his candidacy is supported by it.

Transit Saturn Squares Natal Moon in Taurus

As Transiting Saturn enters Aquarius and squares Biden’s natal Moon, we will see is Biden being challenged to “get to work” on a more effective detail (Taurus) level.
